Does Root insurance offer renters insurance?
I’m moving into a new apartment next month. My lease says I need renters insurance. I currently have Root car insurance, so I’m wondering if I can get a renters policy too. Does Root offer renters insurance policies?

Congrats on the new apartment! Root insurance offers renters insurance, but only in the following eight states:
- Arkansas
- Georgia
- Kentucky
- Missouri
- Ohio
- Tennessee
- New Mexico
- Utah
If you live in any of these states, you can bundle your renters insurance with your
car insurance
for a discount with Root. You can get a quote directly from Root with their app or website. You also can call their customer service for more information. Once you get a quote from Root for renters insurance, take some time to shop around. While you’ll get a discount for bundling your car and renters insurance policies, it doesn’t mean you have the best rate available.
