Does renters insurance cover theft outside the home?
I’m moving to a new apartment next week. I have to rent a storage unit for some of my furniture because I don’t know if it will all fit in the new space, but I am worried about not having everything in the apartment. Will my renters insurance policy cover my belongings if anything is stolen while they are outside my home?
