Mark Ruffalo is famous for his role as the Hulk in Marvel movies, his role in Spotlight, and his environmental and social activism. This includes throwing the Hulk’s weight behind

. The actor has joined with a huge cast of visionaries and activists fighting for an electric future. The innovative “40 Million Reasons To Go Electric” campaign includes mayors, energy commission chairs, and our favorite green superhero, and encourages us to make a greener future. He has also been walking the talk and setting a good example by buying and driving his own electric vehicle.
The Marvel actor has been pictured with a BMWi3, and has long been vocal about the need to move forward to electric vehicles. In fact, the BMW i3 was the first zero-emissions vehicle released on the market in North America in 2011.
This was even before Tesla hit the scene, making Ruffalo among the first to adopt an electric vehicle as his main mode of transportation. Although the BMW i3 is no longer in production, the car company continues to look towards the future, too.
