Does Kia still have a 10-year warranty?
I’m car shopping and seriously considering buying a Kia. I heard Kia has a great warranty that lasts for 10 years, but I’m not sure if they still offer it. Does Kia still offer a 10-year warranty?

Warranties are really important! Yes, Kia still offers a 10-year warranty. Actually, its warranty is for 10 years or 100,000 miles.
Kia also offers:
- A limited basic warranty, covering 5 years or up to 60,000 miles
- A limited powertrain warranty, covering 10 years or up to 100,000 miles
You should familiarize yourself with what is not covered under the Kia warranty, too:
- Damage from tires that are the wrong size
- Misuse like driving over hazardous objects
- Damage caused by not properly maintaining the vehicle
- Damage caused by the environment like road salt
- Everyday wear and tear
- The in-vehicle infotainment system and media controller
- Damage that was the result of car accidents
- Scratches on a window or a broken window
- Spills or burns on the carpet or surfaces or other damage caused by the owner
- Tire alignment and balancing (covered for the first year or 12,000 miles)
