Does Hyundai still have a 10-year warranty?
I’ve had my car for around eight years and it’s starting to give me trouble. I know most warranties only last for five or so years but I remember Hyundai’s being longer. Am I right—does Hyundai’s warranty still last for 10 years?

Hyundai
has long been known for providing one of the most comprehensive warranty packages of any automaker. Although not every component of your car is covered by Hyundai for ten years, many of the most important ones are.When you purchase a new Hyundai you’ll receive the following two types of coverage:
A bumper-to-bumper warranty that lasts for five years or 60,000 miles.
A powertrain warranty that lasts for ten years or 100,000
So while most components are covered by a warranty that only lasts for five years, your engine and transmission are an exception. If there’s a defective part in one of those systems, you can have it fixed up to 10 years later.
If you buy a Hyundai
hybrid or electric vehicle
, you’ll also receive a warranty on the battery. Much like the powertrain, that warranty will last for 10 years or 100,000 miles. If you drive a lot of miles, there is a decent chance you’ll reach the mileage threshold before your ten years are up, but the Hyundai ten-year warranty is still one of the best you’ll find on the entire market.
