Does homeowners insurance cover broken glass?

Can I submit a claim to my insurance company for a broken window? Someone threw a rock into my window. The glass is broken and will need to be replaced.

“Your home insurance will cover broken glass, but you’ll need to consider the cost before submitting a claim.
Home insurance policies often have deductibles, similar to
car insurance
policies. If the cost of replacing the window is less than your deductible, you won’t be able to submit a claim. If it is more than your deductible, you’ll need to decide whether it’s worth submitting one.
Insurance companies rate policies partially based on the amount of claims submitted. If you can easily afford to pay for the window out of pocket, it may be worth skipping a home insurance claim.
If you can’t afford to repair it or it would cause financial hardship, then you should submit a claim.
While it may effect your future premiums, it’s more important that you repair the glass. If you don’t, your
home insurance
could cancel as you aren’t maintaining your home.”
