Does GMC Sonoma have a manual transmission?

I’m interested in getting an older pickup truck with a stick shift. I’m currently looking at the GMC Sonoma online but I’m having a hard time getting any information on it. Does the GMC Sonoma have a manual transmission?

Now there’s a great pickup truck! The
GMC Sonoma
was in production from 1982 to 2004 and, up until 2003, it came standard with a five-speed manual transmission and an optional four-speed automatic transmission.
Now, let’s look at the specs for the 2003 GMC Sonoma which came in three body styles:
  • Regular Cab
  • Extended Cab
  • Crew Cab
In addition to a five-speed manual transmission, the Sonoma Regular and Extended Cab came equipped with a 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine that boasted between 120 and 180 horsepower. The Sonoma Crew Cab, on the other hand, comes with a more powerful 4.3-liter V6 engine that growls with 190 horsepower.
All Sonoma models came standard with front-wheel drive. Regarding the pickup truck’s fuel economy, you can expect to get up to 22 mpg in the city and up to 28 mpg on the highway for the Regular and Extended Cab. The Crew Cab is not as great in the fuel efficiency department as it gets up to 15 mpg in the city and up to 19 mpg on the highway.
