Does Farmers insure cars with salvage titles?
My car was parked on the street and a drunk driver hit it and totaled it. I love this car and have an attachment to it, so I got a salvage title for it. Does Farmers insure cars with salvage titles?

car insurance
with just a salvage title. You’re going to need a rebuilt title to get the car insured and back on the road.Farmers
will offer coverage to a car with a rebuilt title, but no credible, trustworthy insurance company will offer insurance on a car with just a salvage title. It’s illegal to drive a car with just a salvage title in most states, just as it’s illegal in most states to drive without some form of liability coverage
.Your car will always keep its salvage title, but you can get a rebuilt title added on by getting the car restored back to a safe condition. It’ll need to pass an inspection by state officials—this is usually done by the Highway Patrol or State Police—after which your car will earn its rebuilt title.
With a rebuilt title, you’ll find that some insurance providers (including Farmers) will offer liability coverage, while others will not. In some conditions these insurance providers will also offer full coverage, often after a secondary inspection or after providing a written letter from a certified mechanic verifying the car’s safety and roadworthiness.
