“To submit a claim to
Esurance
for hail damage, you will need comprehensive coverage
on your policy. If you have comprehensive insurance, your policy will cover the damage done to your vehicle by hail and other natural disasters or acts of God.
Since comprehensive insurance carries a deductible, you must pay the deductible amount before your insurance pays for anything. If the damage is less than your deductible, you’d be responsible for paying for the damage out of pocket. If you live in an area that has frequent hailstorms, adding comprehensive coverage is a smart move to protect your investment.”
