Does driving cause back pain?
I just bought a new car, and I’ve noticed that I have back pain sometimes after driving. With that said, I’m normally driving for my business, which means I’m behind the wheel for about three or four hours a day. Does driving cause back pain or is there something I’m missing?

- Driving long distances without breaks

- Swaying during turns or from wind
The best way to combat back pain is to:
- Take frequent breaks if you’re driving long distances.
- Adjust your seat properly so your knees are slightly bent, your elbows are slightly bent, the seat is reclined at a 100-degree angle, and your hips are the same height as your knees.
- Work on better posture.
- Limit swerving, extreme acceleration, or quick braking.
