Does Costco sell electric cars?
So I know you can get everything at Costco, but I saw a car advertisement and I had to do a double-take to make sure I saw it right. Does Costco sell electric cars?

It’s important to note that Costco does not actually sell the vehicles but they prearrange fair prices with the seller.An article by Electrek reports that in the summer of 2021, Costco members were eligible to save $2,000 on a Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric and $3,000 on a 2020/2021 Chevrolet Bolt EV. With dealer discounts Costco members could see total discounts over $16,000.
In order to take part in the savings deals, you:
- Need to register online with the Costco Auto Program
- Must have been a Costco member since March 1, 2021
- Must show your specific certificate code to the dealer.
If you aren’t already a Costco member but would like to take part in some of the deals, you can register for a Costco membership and wait until the next available deal. The Costco Auto Program has frequent deals available so you shouldn’t have trouble finding something.
