Does Arizona have an electric vehicle rebate?

Can I get money back on my Arizona state taxes if I drive an electric car? I used to live in California and I got a tax credit for my Prius, but I’m not sure if that will work in Arizona too.

Unfortunately, there is no tax incentive to buy an electric vehicle in
Arizona
. However, you will be eligible for a rebate from
Tucson Electric Power
(TEP) if you install an EV charging station at your place of residence. This TEP rebate will amount to up to 75% of the cost of installation for the charging station.
There are also federal tax breaks available to EV drivers! The federal rebate can amount to up to $7,500, depending on the battery capacity of your vehicle, so you’ll be able to save a fair amount on your federal taxes by driving an electric car.
When you move to a new state, you also need to update your
car insurance
policy to reflect your change in address. Use the
Jerry
app to find the best rates on the coverage you need in a matter of minutes. Signing up takes less than a minute.
