Does an ATV fit in a truck bed?

My buddy just sold me his old ATV, and I have to go drive to his house to pick it up. It’s not a far drive, but I don’t really want to spend the cash to rent a U-HAUL if I don’t have to. Will an ATV fit on a truck bed?

It’s much easier than you think to fit your ATV in a truck bed. As far as four-wheeled vehicles go, they’re pretty compact. ATVs run between 83 to 85 inches in length, which will fit nicely in a standard or long bed truck.
If you’ve got a short bed on your truck, you’re probably out of luck. A short truck bed can only really carry a smaller ATV, such as a youth model.
When loading, make sure to have ramps on standby to facilitate the loading and unloading processes. And be sure to be gentle when rolling the ATV in the truck bed so you don’t
