Does American Family insurance cover a rebuilt title?
I’m looking for an insurance company that will cover my rebuilt title car. It’s been a little difficult, but I haven’t tried AmFam yet. Does American Family cover rebuilt title cars?

Finding reasonable car insurance on a regular car is bad enough—it’s an even bigger headache in your case! But you’ll be happy to know that American Family Insurance does cover
rebuilt title
vehicles! However, the company only provides liability insurance
for rebuilt titles. If you want a full coverage policy, you’ll have to look elsewhere.So long as your salvage title was repaired up to code and passed the required inspection(s) to get a rebuilt title, you should be able to get liability-only insurance from American Family. You may need to provide:
- A certified mechanic’s statement
- Before and after photos of your car
- The original repair estimate
With these proofs that your car has been properly rebuilt and the car’s rebuilt title, you should be in the clear to purchase insurance from AmFam. You can call American Family to get a quote for a car with a rebuilt title by calling 1-800-692-6326.
