Does AARP have a safe driver discount?
I might have to switch my car insurance to AARP soon, and I’m worried I’ll lose some benefits. Does AARP offer a safe driver discount like some other insurers do?

AARP
doesn’t offer an automatic safe driver discount for staying violation-free like some other insurers do, you can still save on your policy by completing a driver safety course.The AARP Smart Driver Course is an online program that will teach you about safe driving habits in order to help you avoid accidents. You will have to pay for this course—it’s $19.95 for AARP members and $24.95 for non-members—but you’ll be awarded a discount of up to 15% on your insurance after you complete it.
