Does a Nissan Leaf use a lot of electricity?

I don’t have an electric car yet but I’m interested in purchasing one. I’ve heard that the Nissan Leaf is a really great option but since I’m new to the “charging your car” thing, what does that look like? How much electricity does a Leaf use?

The Nissan Leaf is a great option and one of the highest-rated EVs on the market. The exact number would depend on the specific model’s battery capacity. For Nissan Leaf with a 40kWh battery and a driving range of 150 miles, it would take about 60kWh of electricity.
Home appliances like the refrigerator, electric oven, and the HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system all use kWh. An electric oven on medium-high heat for an hour each day would be about 75kWh in a month. The HVAC system takes up the highest amount of energy at about 25 to 65kWh in a 24-hour period.
