Does a Honda Civic LX come with a manual transmission?
I want to buy an entry-level car because I just moved from the city to the suburbs. I’m just looking for a commuter car, so I don’t need anything fancy. The Honda Civic LX looks to fit the bill, but I want to make sure it comes with a stick shift. Can I get the Honda Civic LX with a manual transmission?

Unfortunately, new Honda Civic LX models don’t come with a manual transmission. They offer a continuously variable transmission (CVT) instead.

If you really want a Honda Civic LX with a stick shift, you’re going to have to buy a used car.
