Does a Ford Edge get good gas mileage?

I’ve been thinking about buying the new Ford Edge because I love how it looks. I make the four-hour trip to my dad’s house about once a week, though, and I want to make sure that I won’t be paying way too much in gas. What kind of gas mileage can I expect from the Ford Edge?

It’s great that you’re thinking about this before purchasing a new car! The 4WD model of the
Ford Edge
gets an average of 25 miles per gallon, with a rating of 21 miles per gallon in the city and 29 miles per gallon on the highway.
However, you might see a difference in the actual mileage that you get from the Edge depending on the model that you choose. The Ford Edge ST, for example, only gets an average of 22.5 miles per gallon. To learn more about your mileage options, it’s a good idea to talk to your dealer before signing the papers.
