Does a 2015 Dodge Journey have Bluetooth?
Hands-free calling capability is important to me, so I need to know if my next used vehicle will give me that option. Did the 2015 Dodge Journey come with Bluetooth?

Some 2015 Dodge Journeys have Bluetooth—and some don’t.
The 2015 model came in six trim levels—the American Value Package, SE, SXT, Crossroad, Limited, and R/T. The entry-level American Value Package did not come with standard Bluetooth capabilities, although it was an option when buying new.
To add Bluetooth to the 2015 Dodge Journey AVP, the buyer had to add the Uconnect Voice Command with Bluetooth Package. This options suite included:
- Bluetooth connectivity
- Leather-wrapped steering wheel
- Automatic-dimming rearview mirror
The AVP trim offered a bare-bones but affordable option for prospective buyers. The lack of technology, while perhaps frustrating, also served to keep its starting price low at $23,495. However, the Journey AVP was still more expensive than rivals such as the Chevrolet Equinox, Mitsubishi Outlander, and Subaru Forester—all of which have standard Bluetooth connectivity.
So, if you’re looking at purchasing a used 2015 Dodge Journey AVP, make sure that the previous owner added the Uconnect Voice Command with Bluetooth Package. Otherwise, you might have to install an aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth connectivity or purchase a Bluetooth speaker for your Journey.
