We get it! And yes, the 2014 Ford Focus does indeed have Bluetooth, on most trims anyway.
The 2014 Ford Focus had Bluetooth as optional with the S trim, but it came standard on all other trims. So if you’re looking at a used 2014 Ford Focus S, you’ll want to see what options it was initially ordered with.
Connecting to the Bluetooth in a 2014 Ford Focus is pretty straightforward:
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone
Press the phone button on the dash
The car’s center screen will ask if you want to pair a device. Click OK
Find the car in your list of Bluetooth devices. It’ll come up in the device list as “SYNC”
The car will give you a pin to enter on your phone. Simply type in that pin and the car will connect
Some Android phones will simply ask you to verify the connection with SYNC rather than you needing to type in pin numbers. This can be a little confusing—the car is giving you a code, but the phone isn’t prompting you for one. If this happens, just confirm the connection on your phone and you’ll be good to go.
