Does a 2013 Ford F-150 have Bluetooth?

Does a 2013 Ford F-150 have Bluetooth? I thought my dad’s did it back in the day, but after recently buying a used one, I can’t figure out how to connect my phone to it.

Yes, Bluetooth was available on the 2013
Ford F-150
, but it didn’t come as a standard feature for the model year. XLT and higher trim levels offered the SYNC system and its Bluetooth capabilities.
If your 2013 Ford F-150 does have a SYNC system, pairing it with a Bluetooth-compatible device can take less than a couple of minutes! Here’s how you can pair a device with your 2013 Ford F-150 via Bluetooth:
  • Turn Bluetooth on in your device settings
  • To the left of your
    Ford’s
SYNC infotainment system screen, select the “phone” button
  • When prompted to add a device on the screen, press the “OK” button located below the screen
  • On your phone or Bluetooth device, find the available “SYNC” connection option and select it
  • Verify the PIN that appears on your phone matches the one on your vehicle’s infotainment screen. If the two PINs match, press “yes” on the radio screen and “pair” on your device.
That’s it! Now your phone should be paired with your Ford’s SYNC system. You might also be asked whether you want to import your phone’s contacts, which you can accept or decline, depending on your preference.
If your 2013 Ford F-150 doesn’t have Bluetooth, there’s no need to fret. You can easily add the capability to your truck with an
aftermarket Bluetooth adapter
—and they tend to be pretty inexpensive.
