Does a 2009 Ford Focus have Bluetooth?

I’m getting a 2009 Focus from my uncle on my birthday in a few months and I’m using the rest of my birthday money to buy accessories for it, like mats and stuff. Should I buy a Bluetooth adapter or does it already have Bluetooth?

Well, the short answer is maybe.
Bluetooth did not become a standard feature on the
Ford Focus
until 2011. Prior to that, however, it was available as an optional upgrade.
You can ask your uncle if the car he’s gifting you has Bluetooth capabilities, or you can wait and see. If it doesn’t have one, you can use the auxiliary jack on your Focus to stream music—you’ll just need an aux cord. Connect one end of the cord to your phone and the other to the auxiliary jack, then pull up the music player on your phone. Your music should play through the car speakers!
You can also use a Bluetooth adapter to make your vehicle adaptable to hands-free calling.
