Does a 2004 Honda Accord have Bluetooth?

A family member gave me a 2004 Honda Accord and would like to pair my phone, but I’m not sure how. Does my car have Bluetooth, or do I need to buy an adapter?

Unfortunately, the 2004
Honda Accord
does not have Bluetooth connectivity. Although new Honda Accords come standard with Bluetooth and many other convenience features, older models weren’t so lucky.
Honda started offering Bluetooth as a standard feature on most of their vehicles in 2015, including the Honda Accord,
Honda Fit
, and
Honda Civic
. The Honda Pilot, HR-V, and Odyssey also came with Bluetooth as standard equipment. However, Bluetooth connectivity started as an optional feature in 2012, with some models as early as 2008 having connectivity.
If you want the option of hands-free calling and music, many aftermarket Bluetooth kits can be added to your Accord. Depending on the product, you can get one for less than $100 and sometimes even less than $20!
