Does State Farm insurance cover rental cars?

I have a policy through State Farm and I'm planning on renting a car. Do I need to purchase rental car insurance through State Farm as well?

Rental car insurance through a car insurance company is typically rental car reimbursement, meaning that it covers a rental car when you get into an accident and need a temporary vehicle.
If you’re looking for additional rental coverage, you’ll need to purchase coverage through the rental car company or check with your credit card company if you plan on purchasing the rental car with it.
Before committing to additional coverage, be sure to check with State Farm to confirm what coverage is on your policy.”
