Do you need good credit to qualify for renters insurance?
I have to get renters insurance for a townhome I’m moving into, but my credit score isn’t the greatest since I’ve had problems in the past with repaying debt. Will my middling credit score keep me from getting insurance?

“Good credit is not necessary to qualify for renters insurance; however, your credit rating can impact your premiums. The better your credit rating is, the better the insurance score you’ll have, which will give you the best premiums possible.
Conversely, if your credit is not favorable, a surcharge may be applied to your insurance policy, making it more expensive than it typically would be. “

Should I get the Virginia state-minimum insurance requirements for my motorcycle?
I just bought my first motorcycle, and I need to insure it before I get on the road. I was thinking of just getting the Virginia state-minimum requirements because I don't plan on driving too much until I'm comfortable. Should I do this?
