Do I have to have a clean driving record in order to drive for Uber Eats? It seems like a great way to earn some extra cash, but I’m not sure if I’ll even qualify to work for them.

It helps to have a clean driving record when you apply to work for Uber Eats. They do perform a pretty extensive background check that looks at both your criminal record and your driving record. However, you won’t necessarily be disqualified if you have a minor offense or two on your record.
Your criminal record is more important when applying for Uber. If you have any felonies, violent crimes, sexual offenses, or a registered sex offender status on your criminal record, you’ll automatically be disqualified for a job with Uber.
