Do travel trailers depreciate like cars?

Will my travel trailer have a lower value over time like my car will? I really want to sell my old travel trailer, but I’m not sure how much I can reasonably ask for it since I’ve had it for a while.

Yes, your
travel trailer
will depreciate like cars do. You can expect your brand new travel trailer to depreciate in the following ways over the years:
  • Year 1: 20.50%
  • Year 2: 23.25%
  • Year 3: 28.33%
  • Year 4: 32.17%
  • Year 5: 39.37%
So, when selling your travel trailer, make sure to factor depreciation into your asking price. Otherwise, you might have difficulty finding a willing buyer.
