Do rabbits travel well in cars?

I want to bring my rabbit home with me for summer break, but I’ll be traveling by car and I’m worried that it’ll stress her out. How are rabbits with car travel?

Most rabbits do travel well in cars for short distances, but it is possible that your pet will become stressed over the course of a long trip. To make the journey more enjoyable for your rabbit, you can try the following:
  1. Find a good
    travel carrier
  2. Do a test drive before you leave to see how your bunny reacts
  3. Talk to your vet about the trip to see what they think or recommend
  4. Keep the car at a comfortable temperature
  5. Keep the travel carrier dark with lots of hay
