Do night driving glasses really help?
Since I do a lot of driving in the dark, my mother bought me a pair of night driving glasses for my birthday. I’ve worn them a few times since getting them but haven’t noticed much of an improvement. Do night driving glasses really work?

Happy belated birthday! As for whether or not night driving glasses really help, some say they do.
However:
- There is no conclusive evidence that night driving glasses improve night vision.
- They will not help you see pedestrians or other road hazards.
- The added tint for reducing glare may make it harder to see in the dark.
Your best protection while driving at night is to
drive safely
