Do iridium spark plugs foul?

I’ve been thinking about replacing my car’s spark plugs with iridium ones since they supposedly perform better and are more resistant to damage than double platinum. But can iridium spark plugs still foul?

Indeed, iridium spark plugs are generally considered more durable than other kinds of spark plugs (like platinum ones). Nonetheless, they’re not invincible and can still foul and corrode.
Oil, fuel, or carbon can foul iridium spark plugs just like platinum. However, the higher level of durability associated with iridium means they’re less likely to blister. Iridium itself is a hard transition metal, and iridium spark plugs have a concentrated spark that equates to more reliable start-ups, greater gas mileage performance, and longer life spans overall.
In addition, using iridium spark plugs can increase the number of miles you can go between changing or replacing your spark plugs.
