Do I need uninsured motorist coverage in Hawaii?

I’m spending two years in Hawaii at the end of this year, and I will be getting a car for my stay. I know I’ll need liability insurance but do I also need uninsured motorist coverage?

in Hawaii, but you are required to purchase
liability coverage
in the minimum amounts of 20/40/10:
Note that liability coverage doesn’t cover personal medical expenses if you’re involved in an at-fault accident. Because of this, you are also required to get
personal injury protection (PIP)
with a minimum limit of $10,000 per person.
