Do I need to report a lost driving license?
Do I need to file a report if I lost my driving license? I can’t find my license and I’m worried that I might have lost it. I’m not sure if I should call the police or not!

Typically, it’s a good idea to report a
lost driving license
since your license can be used for identity theft. If you can’t find your license, contact the police and file a report so that you can start the process of getting a new license.When you file the police report, make sure to request a copy so that you can bring it with you to your local licensing branch to get a new license. If you find your old license after getting a new one, don’t forget to let the police know!
