Do I need to get a Ford Mustang windshield replacement?

My Ford Mustang has a nasty crack in the windshield. Someone told me that I need to get a new one now, or it could be dangerous. Is that true? I mean the crack is on the passenger side and doesn’t really bother me. Do I really need a windshield replacement for my Ford Mustang?

I’m sorry to hear that your Mustang has a crack in the windshield. As for whether or not you need to get a
Ford Mustang
windshield replacement, the short answer is yes—you really should. It can, in fact, be dangerous to drive with a crack—it could suddenly spread, worsen, or even shatter!
Some small cracks aren’t really a threat of shattering your windshield—but the thing is, you never really know for certain. On top of that, the crack could grow and worsen at any time if you hit a bump or something. It’s best not to risk it; get a windshield replacement as soon as possible.
If you’re worried about paying for the replacement, check your
car insurance
policy—it may be that your coverage will pay the bill for you!
It’s a good idea to regularly check your policy anyway—that’s the best way to avoid overpaying.
