Do I need to be added to my parents' insurance on an Acura TLX if I drive it regularly?

I recently sold my car because the car note and insurance costs are too high. However, my parents have an extra car (Acura TLX) they rarely drive, and they said I could drive it for the time being. Do I need to be added to the policy if I drive the car regularly?

“Assuming that your parents’ home address is your primary residence, if you drive the car regularly, you’ll definitely need to be added to their
car insurance
. The good news is that this will be far less expensive than if you get the insurance on your own.
If you’re a student, you should also see if you’re eligible for a good student discount, which could save you even more money.
If you live on your own, however, you’ll likely need to get your own car insurance.”
