Do I need to be added to my parents' insurance on an Acura TLX if I drive it regularly?

I recently sold my car because the car note and insurance costs are too high. However, my parents have an extra car (Acura TLX) they rarely drive, and they said I could drive it for the time being. Do I need to be added to the policy if I drive the car regularly?

“Assuming that your parents’ home address is your primary residence, if you drive the car regularly, you’ll definitely need to be added to their car insurance. The good news is that this will be far less expensive than if you get the insurance on your own.
If you’re a student, you should also see if you’re eligible for a good student discount, which could save you even more money.
If you live on your own, however, you’ll likely need to get your own car insurance.”
