Do I need full coverage on a 1999 Honda Civic?

"Is it necessary based on the age of my car? What would happen if my car was stolen without full coverage?"

“Full coverage car insurance includes
comprehensive insurance
and
collision insurance
.
Comprehensive insurance provides coverage if your vehicle is damaged due to a covered peril. This can include theft, vandalism, or hitting an animal.
Collision insurance provides coverage if your vehicle is damaged in a collision with another vehicle or object.
Without either of these coverages, you would be responsible for any damage done to your vehicle. This would include if your car was stolen and you didn’t have comprehensive insurance.
However, the age of your vehicle may impact your insurance. Many carriers do not offer full coverage on a vehicle older than 20 years. You can
request quotes
from insurance carriers to find out whether you’d be able to insure your vehicle and the cost.
You’re normally able to add comprehensive coverage without collision as well.”
