Do I need car insurance in Florida?
I just moved to Florida, and I have my car paid off. Do I still need car insurance as a Florida resident?
“Currently, 48 states, including Florida, require at least liability insurance to legally drive, with Virginia and New Hampshire as the outliers. If you’re moving to Florida, the best plan of action is to gather some online quotes before or just after you move.
However, rates change based on geographic location, as well as insurance providers. To make this process easier, use Jerry to get instant quotes from up to 45 different providers and lock in the best rate and policy for your needs.”

Who has a right to extra payments that an auto insurance company makes?
My sister's vehicle was totaled. She owes $14,000 on her loan and her vehicle is worth $12,700. She put in a claim for gap insurance and they said she had negative gap due to refunds that the dealership owes ($2,000). Is she entitled to the extra $700? Shouldn't it go to my sister instead of the bank?

Can I garage a car in Connecticut when I live in Brooklyn and still find insurance?
I bought a classic car. But living in Brooklyn, it's not cost-effective to garage or park a car that I only drive on occasion. I want to leave it at a garage in Connecticut with my in-laws. Can I get insurance in this situation?

Why am I paying so much for car insurance for my old Corolla?
I am 20 years old and my friends all pay $100 less than me for their insurance. I have a 2008 Toyota Corolla and did have an accident two years ago. I'm currently with State Farm and I don't know why I'm paying so much more.
