Do homeowners insurance companies inspect homes?
I’m in the process of buying my first home, and I’m trying to schedule everything I need to do. I’m working on getting homeowners insurance, and the company said they will come to inspect the house. Do home insurance companies inspect homes for their policies?

Getting everything lined up to buy a home is important, including the purchase of the right

policy. To get your homeowners policy, the insurance company may decide it’s necessary to conduct a home inspection.Not all homes need to be inspected for their insurance policies. Inspections are typically needed for:

- Determining replacement value
