Do employers care about reckless driving?

Will future employers care about a reckless driving charge? I got one a couple of years ago, and now I’m about to graduate college and start looking for jobs. Will the reckless driving charge keep me from getting hired?

It is possible that your employer will care about a reckless driving charge on your record. If you apply for a job that involves driving, for example, it is significantly less likely that you’ll get the job. However, some employers may not care about the charge, especially if it is a misdemeanor rather than a felony and a dry rather than a
wet reckless
conviction.
Unfortunately, there usually isn’t much you can do about the charge once it’s on your record. Some states will allow you to expunge the charge after a certain amount of time has passed, but often you’ll have to disclose the information and hope for the best.
A reckless driving charge can also make it really difficult to find affordable car insurance. Luckily, the
Jerry
app can help. Jerry finds you customized quotes from over 50 of the nation’s top insurance companies, so you can get the coverage you need at the price you want.
