Do electric cars have rpms?

I’m thinking about buying my first electric car but I’m wondering how they compare to gas-powered cars in terms of performance. Can electric car performance be measured in revolutions per minute or RPMs?

shopping for a new car
! There has never been a more exciting time to look into buying your first
electric car
, and hopefully, this information will help make your decision.
Because electric motors have a much more simplified and efficient mechanism for utilizing energy, they’re actually able to deliver such a high rpm that it eliminates the need for a transmission entirely.
While most internal combustion engine cars typically provide less than 6000 rpm, the simplified gearbox of an electric motor can provide up to 15,000 rpm, the while majority of them can reach up to 10,000 rpm easily.
