Do electric cars have a rear engine power source?

I like the feel of a rear-wheel or all-wheel drive especially for driving in the snow. I’m considering an electric vehicle, but I want to know if electric cars can have a rear engine power source?

Great question! Yes, there are many
electric cars
that are being manufactured with mid and rear-engine power sources as opposed to front-wheel drive.
Electric cars are revolutionizing the auto industry and reshaping the way cars are designed. In front-wheel drive (FWD) cars, the front wheels are responsible for pulling the vehicle and driving. While many small cars are made with this configuration, it’s not the best fit for extreme conditions like heavy snow.
Rear-wheel drive (RWD) pushes the car and leaves steering to the front wheels. This configuration is much more common in electric vehicles whose battery and motor weight needs to be distributed evenly throughout the car.
With electric cars—especially the fully-electric ones— the battery pack is a lot heavier than an internal combustion engine. Engineers have designed a skateboard configuration that the car sits on, to distribute weight evenly along the base of the vehicle.
Not to worry, many EVs found today will have RWD because it fits the car the best.
Driving in any conditions, you’ll need
