Do all tickets affect car insurance in Oregon?

I live in an apartment building that doesn't have parking. I'm terrible at moving my car, so I have a lot of parking tickets. Would these affect my insurance cost? Do only certain types of tickets affect your insurance?

Parking tickets are the worst! While you can save money by being more aware of moving your car, parking tickets shouldn’t affect your
car insurance
rates.
In most states, including
Oregon
, parking tickets are municipal and managed by the city. Even if you have a pile full of parking tickets, they don’t go on your
driving record
. Although the DMV may be aware of them, your insurance company won’t be.
However, other types of tickets can impact your car insurance rates. Any ticket related to a moving violation or accident typically goes on your driving record. If you don’t have a
clean driving record
, you will pay more for insurance.
While you may not have tickets that impact your insurance, reviewing your options is still essential to saving money. Insurance rates are constantly changing, so
shopping around for new insurance
every six to 12 months ensures you’re getting the best price for the coverage you need.
