Do all car insurance policies have rental car coverage?

I was recently in an accident and my car has to be repaired. I'll need to get to work while it's in the shop. Does my car insurance cover rental cars?

“Unless you’ve specifically added rental reimbursement coverage to your car insurance policy, you won’t have coverage.
Rental car coverage when you’re in an accident is considered an optional level of coverage. Most car insurance companies also require that you carry comprehensive and collision coverage to add rental car coverage. If you weren’t at fault in the accident, the at-fault driver’s insurance may cover your rental car. Reach out to your insurance to find out about coverage. They may negotiate a rental car for you.
And if you’re concerned about rental car coverage in the future, check out the Jerry app. Sign up in less than a minute to compare comprehensive and collision coverage quotes, as well as those for rental car reimbursement.”
