Do aesthetic modifications affect car insurance?

Car insurance companies are worried about two main things when it comes to modifications:
- Replacing the value of the modified part
- Making your car more susceptible to theft
Since it’s unlikely that you would want to receive compensation for a paint job in the event of an accident, this modification shouldn’t have a major impact on your premiums.
While an eye-catching paint job may draw more attention to your car, it doesn’t mean it’s prone to theft. Your vehicle would be more susceptible to theft if you had something like a new sound system. In that case, you’d like want to add
