Do 2012 Honda Civics have Bluetooth?

I’m a new driver about to buy my first car: a 2012 Civic! I know it’s an older car, but I want to make sure I’ll have some basic tech so I can use my phone while driving. Do 2012 Honda Civics have Bluetooth?

Yes, the 2012
Honda Civic
does have Bluetooth! You might be buying an old car, but it’s still modern enough that you can expect some useful technology.
If you want to pair your phone with your car, the first thing you need to do is go to the SETTINGS menu on your smartphone, find BLUETOOTH, and make sure it’s set to ON. Then, press the PHONE button on your center dashboard and wait for the digital display to ask if you want to add a new phone.
Choose YES, select your phone from the list of available devices, and wait for a PIN to display. Next, go back to your mobile device’s Bluetooth menu, find your 2012 Civic on the list of options, and type in the PIN. Once you do that, the phone and car will recognize each other, and you can begin using your mobile device to make hands-free phone calls while driving.
You can also use your Bluetooth connection to play music, but because you won’t have access to modern smartphone compatibility apps like Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, you’ll have to use the controls on your smartphone to select your preferred streaming application and playlists. Prevent dangerous
distracted driving
by choosing your music before you hit the road.
