Did the Saab 9-3 Aero have a manual transmission?

My grandfather has a Saab 9-3 Aero that he no longer drives and is passing down to me. I would love to drive a manual car, but does the 9-3 Aero come with a manual transmission?

Yes—the
Saab 9-3 Aero
had a 6-speed manual transmission option. It came standard with a 2.8L turbocharged V6 engine capable of producing 210 hp, as well as a sunroof and larger wheels.
A limited-edition 96 Aero Carlsson 9-3 was released in 2010 and featured Saab’s cross-wheel drive (XWD) system, a turbocharged 280-hp 2.8L V6 engine, and a 6-speed “Sentronic” hydraulic automatic transmission.
Things are looking good if you’re hoping to get behind the wheel of a manual Saab 9-3 Aero! But make sure you also have a good car insurance policy to keep your Aero protected.
