Did the Pontiac Torrent ever have a manual transmission?
I was looking at a used Pontiac Torrent with good mileage and in excellent condition. However, I was really hoping for a manual car. Was the Torrent ever produced with a manual transmission?

Pontiac Torrent
was never produced with a manual transmission. The mid-size crossover SUV was available from 2006 to 2009 and was a restyled version of the Chevrolet Equinox
. The Torrent has a sportier and firmer suspension compared to the Equinox, and the electronic power steering was altered for a firmer feel. However, the two vehicles did share the 2.4L V6 engine with a 5-speed Aisin AF33 automatic transmission.
