Steve McQueen didn’t do all of the driving in Bullitt’s legendary chase scene. Though he was credited as the driver, he actually shared the driving honors with Hollywood stuntman Bud Ekins.

In 2020, the 1968 Ford Mustang GT that McQueen drove during the scene sold for a record-breaking $3.4 million at auction, smashing the auction house’s previous sales record.
