Car floor mats can get pretty nasty over time, but you can clean them up using a vacuum and a cleaning solution.
These steps will get your mats nice and clean:
Vacuum to get out any larger debris like rocks, crumbs, pet hair, and anything else stuck to the carpets. Sucking these things up can make the floor mats easier to scrub.
Attack stains by either:
Scrubbing with basic soap and water
Spraying with a high-pressure hose or steam to kill odors and bacteria
Hang the floor mats so they dry completely. Otherwise, you could have a mold and mildew situation on your hands.
