Can you talk on the phone while driving in Colorado?

I like to call my parents sometimes on my work commute from Boulder to Denver. I’ve never thought twice about it before, but is it legal to talk on the phone while driving in Colorado?

Colorado
does not have a law prohibiting adults from speaking on the phone while driving. There are **exceptions for minors (under 18)**—phone calls and all forms of manual cell phone usage are prohibited for this age group.
While it is legal to speak on the phone while driving in Colorado, manual data entry (texting or internet browsing) is prohibited for all age groups. If you cause bodily injury as a result of a texting or emailing while driving, you could be punished with jail time and or fines. Distracted driving should be taken very seriously. To stay safe, consider using a Bluetooth or hands-free device to speak on the phone while driving.
