Can you put seats for a Corvette C7 into a Corvette C6?
I just bought my first Corvette. It’s a C6 and I love it, but I like the seats in the C7 way more. A friend of mine actually has a set of C7 seats and offered to sell them to me. Could I buy the C7 seats and install them in a C6? Would that even work?

! That’s an excellent machine you’ve got your hands on! As far as your question goes, the answer is technically yes; you can install Corvette C7 seats in a Corvette C6. Practically speaking, though, it’ll be a bit difficult.The C7 seats are the same size and will fit in the C6. But in order to make everything work, you’ll have to do a great deal of rewiring. The main issue is that the electronic components (seat controls, heated seats, etc.) are simply not compatible. Unless you have a good deal of experience working with automotive electronics, it’s not really going to be something you can get done.
So, while it’s possible to install C7 seats into a Corvette C6, it’s not really going to be plausible for most people.
